Join us at Benowa Gardens for a spectacular Lunar New Year celebration! We are welcoming 2026 with a high-energy Lion Dance to bring prosperity, joy, and good luck to our Centre and Community.

Event Details:
• Date: Saturday, 28th February 2026
• Performance: The dragon dancers will be here from 1:30pm for about 40 minutes with a break half – way, they will roam the whole centre top level.
• Location: Throughout the center

What to Expect:
• The Spectacle: 5 brand-new colorful lions, traditional drummers, cymbals, and a playful monk.
• Tradition in Motion: Experience the “eating” of lucky lettuce and the excitement of electric firecrackers.
• Good Fortune: We’ll be handing out traditional red pockets to guests to share the luck!
• Capture the Moment: Stick around for photos with the lions once they’ve finished their lap of the center.
